Without a doubt, the most meaningful event in our lives this week has been our daughter's First Holy Communion. What a beautiful day! How incredibly moving to see our little girl, our "baby" be so reverent and respectful as she received Our Lord. She is such a kind and gentle soul, always having a servant's heart and she just shined on her special day! She was also chosen to read from the Psalms and did a magnificent job. We are so very, very proud of her. She loves Jesus so much. It is obvious in everything she does. She is such a wonderful and precious gift to us! :-)
Here are some photos from Saturday. I posted a couple of the proofs from her portrait session on my wrap-up post
here. I will post more of the portraits when I get them back in a couple of weeks.
Here she is with my hubby and I
and with her brothers, who all wore a suit in her honor (and promptly took them off after getting home from church, lol!)
Kiddo #1 was an altar server and her Pop-Pop (my dad), who is a deacon, proclaimed the Gospel. Here they are in the closing procession.
Some other random shots from the day
Yes, that is her face she is holding, lol. We had one of her portraits put on her cake, and she wanted, not only the first piece, but her own face! :-)
May God continue to watch over and bless our little girl always!

From you post and pictures, I can see how meaningful that day was to your family, Lisa. I liked your description of your little girl: "She is such a kind and gentle soul, always having a servant's heart." What wonderful qualities to observe and nurture in your child! As always, thanks for linking up with me again this week! God bless kiddo #4 (and the others too, of course!)
