I read on a church sign recently, "Lent is a journey to Amazing Grace." How true! I try to make the journey a special one for my children (and myself)-- a time to grow closer to God through many things including prayer and sacrifice.
What will you see in this series this week?
Day 2 will have some of our favorite Lenten books to read
Day 3 will include some wonderful Lenten crafts
Day 4 will feature some of the amazing posts shared on my Lenten Linkup (which is open until 4/17)
Day 5 will feature more of the amazing posts shared on my Lenten Linkup (wait till you see them!)
I hope you will join me for this short 5-day journey and that it can help you and your family have a more meaningful Lenten season to prepare our hearts, minds and souls for Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Here are 8 of my friends who are also participating in this 5-day series and what they are blogging about. To see more of the wonderful participants and what they shared, click on the graphic below! :-) There are 63 of us in all! :-)

I love the church sign saying! Beautiful reminder. Looking forward to reading your week's posts.
We don't celebrate Lent so I'm curious to see what you do for the holiday! ~ Lisa @aruplife.com
Lisa, I look forward to your series.
We don't celebrate Lent either, it's always been something that I have been curious about, looking fwd to seeing more.
Lent is a curious thing to me as I see so many believers treat it so casually! Interested to see what you do!
I am looking forward to the posts this week. We have never personally observed Lent, so I am excited about learning more.
