My daughter's creation this week was Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookies. They were so fluffy and soft and really delicious. As usual, they didn't last long around here. :-)
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cups peanut butter chips (optional. Kiddo omitted these)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the flour and baking soda in a medium bowl.
Beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in the sour cream, egg, water and vanilla until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture. Beat until well blended.
Stir in the chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonful 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Cool the cookies on the sheets for 1 minute. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy! :-)

Thank you so much for featuring my cinnamon rolls. I really love making them and I'm honored that you featured them on your hop.
Thanks you for featuring my strawberry cloud cake, it's the first time for me and i am excited to be a part of one of my favorite blogs..
The recipe that your daughter used sounds interesting as it has sour cream! I once made chocolate chip cookies with cottage cheese and the texture was great, now I must try this recipe. I'm saving it!
Thanks for the party and I wish you a wonderful week
The cookies look great! Maybe I'll get my 4 year old daughter to help me whip up a batch!
Your daughter bakes such delicious cookies Lisa! Thanks for hosting and have a good day.
I hope that your boys' future wives enjoy baking as much as your daughter because I bet they are a bit spoiled form all the cookies :-)
thank you so much for featuring me. :)

Looks like your daughter keeps your family stocked with treats. :) Thanks for hosting, Lisa!
Thank you so much for featuring our Peanut Butter Fudge. Hubby loves making it for something quick and sweet to eat and the girls love helping out (of course).
This week I am linking up my Baked Rice Pudding. This was my mother's recipe and I finally had it turn out right for me, nice and creamy.
By the way, your daughter's cookies sound great, but I would definitely have added the peanut butter chips too.
Have a great day!
