And, there was so much to see, learn and do. We learned that PA is not only the nation's largest producer of mushrooms, but of hardwood.
We saw lots of animals (kiddos were thrilled) and were amazed and just how beautiful some of them were.
They played a few rounds of miniature golf
and see some of a tractor pull
We viewed PA artifacts, including a weapon used in the Battle of Gettysburg
and got to see submissions from 4H participants from all over the state (made kiddos look forward to entering their projects this year)
We sampled apples grown in PA, saw a life size butter sculpture made from the milk from PA dairy cows, learned about PA's national parks, fishing and other natural resources.
What a fun and educational day! :-)

What a fun field trip!
Going to the Farm Show was a favorite memory from my own growing up. We went the other year and enjoyed it.
That looks so fun! I've never seen a tractor pull. I love mini. golf though and my kiddos would have loved to have seen all the animals.
