Homemade Vanilla Fudge

My daughter made this for a 4H project and it didn't last the night here!  :-)  Tasted just like the boardwalk variety!

2/3 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups confectioners' sugar

Beat together the butter, brown sugar and evaporated milk.

Microwave on high for 6 minutes.  Stir after every 2 minutes.

Stir in vanilla and confectioners' sugar.  Beat with mixer until well blended.

Pour into pan lined with parchment paper.

Put in refrigerator to cool and harden.

Enjoy!  :-)

That looks so very good! Maybe the girls and I can make that together seeing as they make peanut butter fudge with their dad.
Would love for you to stop by and share this on Kids and a Mom in the Kitchen (I've actually got some link ups this week. Trying to keep the momentum going)
Have a great afternoon!

This looks good and fairly easy. I have had trouble with fudge in the past but will keep this recipe and give it a try. My hubby likes fudge but not chocolate so this would be perfect. Thanks for sharing.

This looks really easy and quick! And it is such a pretty color. You should be so proud of her top notch skills! I miss having my daughters at home messing in the kitchen.
