Homeschool Mother's Journal- February 14

Happy Valentine's Day!

I have not done this post in so many weeks.  :-(  I have just been so busy with homeschooling and our 4-H activities, but I promised myself I would do one this week.

Here are some photos of the last few weeks.  My older boys have started a .22 rifle class with 4H.

From 50 feet away, they both hit the bulls eye many times!  :-)  The instructors, as you can see below, are helpful and assist each student.

We had a fun Super Bowl party.

(I made Broncos and Seahawks toothpicks for the cheese)  :-)

My daughter and husband attended the Father-Daughter Square Dance at our church.

We have participated in the Iditarod Trail Mail Project

and we have played in the snow over and over again.

(it has been quite the winter here.  Last week's storm had over 800,00 without power).  We are due again tonight/tomorrow for another big one.  Guess more sledding is in order.  :-)  But, boy has it been beautiful.  Winter Wonderland Beautiful.

and we are LOVING the Olympics.  Go Team USA!  :-)

(there are more medals since then!)

I think everyone has had so much snow this winter. We've had a whole week of it in the South!

Nice pictures. I especially liked the one with your daughter in the snow, nicely taken. :)

How fun to go to a father-daughter square dance! What a beautiful memory.

I, for one, am looking forward to spring. :)

What a great week. We have not played in the snow all winter :( One or more of us have had illness and just haven't ventured out into the cold.

Hi, Jackie stopping by from the February Let's Homeschool High School Blog Hop.

Your 4-H activities look like so much fun. It's nice to have a great organization like that for your kids to be a part of.

We are also enjoying the Olympics. It's our family night ritual right now. The US is our favorite of course, by my daughter is also pulling for Norway--her fave country.

I also wanted to thank you for linking up with us this month at the Let's Homeschool High School February Blog Hop.. I look forward to you joining us again for March Blog Hop.

Joyfully,
Jackie
