This week, I am sharing my chocolate chip pound cake recipe. It is SO yummy and is a big hit in our house. :-)
Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
1 cup butter (2 sticks) softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla (I use a bit more)
3 cups flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ baking soda
¾ cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and flour bundt pan or spray with baking spray containing
flour. In large mixing bowl, beat butter
with sugar until light and fluffy. Add
eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Add vanilla.
Mix flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk,
beginning and ending with flour. Be sure
to beat until the flour totally disappears before adding milk and vice
versa. Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
Bake for 65 minutes or until lightly brown and toothpick
comes clean out of the center.

Okay, I really want this...right now! Trouble is, it's 10:36 and everyone else is already asleep. Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to start banging around in the kitchen:) Thanks for sharing this one!
