Our first week of school has come and gone! And it went really well. :-)
On Monday, they were hard at work in their academics. Kiddos 1 and 2 are doing well with their online classes. On Monday, it was English and Algebra II. Tuesdays is Apologetics. On Monday night, our hometown football team, the Philadelphia Eagles had an amazing season debut. Kiddo #2 was pretty psyched. :-)
(my parents' basement has awesome space for us to do schoolwork)
I love seeing the kiddos practice their instruments
and working hard :-)
On Friday, as a special treat for a week well done, we went out to lunch and to a local park. They had such a good time! And, there are still lots of yummy tomatoes coming from our garden. :-)
One of my favorites of the week:
Our laminator arrived! (and has been getting LOTS of use!) It was on sale at Amazon for only $24.99. I used Mother's Day money and what a great gift it has turned out to be! :-)
My posts this week:
Landmarks Matching Game Free Printable (this is SO much fun. My kids love it!)
What we are looking forward to next week:
A football party on Sunday with good friends
My birthday on Tuesday and going to the performance of "Noah" at the Sights and Sounds Theatre with my children and good friends
A visit to Cherry Crest Farm in Lancaster County for their homeschool week festivities
(I will be sure to write about our adventures and post photos)

I love it!...it always looks like fun and productive things are happening in your house!
I have been trying to fin my WWU/Journal all day but life keeps preventing me. Don't know if I will ( ! ) we'll see. On the plus side, I DID get the laundry put away and I actually cooked a meal with courses! woohoo! But that's it.
I really like the idea of listing your posts from the week! Do you mind if I do that too? Great thing to do!
I have about 4 posts in draft and really just want some time to flesh them out ---I think tmrw PM after soccer I should be able to fin at least one.
Thanks for the peek into your week!
Great shots...

You guys always have such fun weeks! Thanks for sharing. I'm so adding a laminatir to my christmas list! Haha stopping by from the Hoggatt Homeschool
That laminator is awesome! I got that one back around Christmas last year and I'm still impressed at how well it works.
Wow what a great week! Glad I could drop in. I had ordered a laminator then returned it. I just use the post-it tape for my workboxes since I seem to keep changing them, lol!
I love my laminator! We just decluttered the house from top to bottom, but there is no way I was getting rid of my laminator:) Looks like a fun week of learning at your house! I've been saving my recipes to join you on Tuesdays:)
It looks like you had a fun week. We just started back to school this week. It went rather well.
I live your daughter's dress. My daughter has the same dress.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
I love the work space for your children! I'm mulling over some ideas, and may take the leap to convert our dining room into something else :) I've been laminating some too! Aren't they terrific? Adore the photo of your son playing the piano - I'm taking lessons this year with my girls! I love it and would like to purchase one! Looks like a great first week, Lisa!
I have the same laminator and love it!!! :) You'll have tons of fun with it!!! <3
