There are so many things that make everyday meaningful; many which can be easily overlooked due to the "busyness" of the life we all lead. I find that very sad. How many priceless smiles, questions or beautiful parts of nature do we miss? I have been trying to make a real effort to look for and appreciate each and every one of these special moments, whether they be working on an airplane
playing an educational animal game
practicing phonics
or mastering more baseball statistics
With this attitude, even everyday tasks like making baked eggplant become even more special
and I can appreciate the beauty of the moon and our little plants growing....
Linking up today with Michelle at Changed by the Maker for Make Life Meaningful Monday.

I find the same thing! I sometimes get so busy that I miss those great moments ... or I just don't focus on how great they are! Thank you for the reminder!
Yes, Lisa. Those moments certainly are upon us all day long! Having that mindset is the key, and, unfortunately, sometimes I need my link-up to heighten my awareness. That's how yesterday's post came to be. I didn't really think anything about them going outside to shoot guns until I started thinking about what I was going to write! Argh! That's bad! Must be more aware!
Thanks for your post, Lisa. That moon is awesome, and I'm jealous that we haven't got our seedlings started yet! I keep reminding myself that we could still get snow -- though it's not looking very likely!
Yes, we can miss it...so easily!!! Thank you for encouraging me not to!
Yes ma'am! I have found that when I intentionally look for the little things I find so much joy in my girls :)
